to be or not to be that is the question
the answer may not be so obvious
but it is always there
if you look closely enough

Trying to organise students’ edublogs is proving to be time consuming but should be worthwhile in the long term.

We have examined appropriate “character adjectives”- an interesting discussion about what is meant by positive and negative, some did not agree with positioning of some of the descriptions. Again the idea about our individual perception.

In our English class we have started some character analysis for two of the main characters (Heidi and Mark) in “Hitler’s daugher”.  Thinking of the adjectives is easy compared to finding the “evidence” in the text to back up their ideas about the characters.

Here we  are in the mist of confusion

What can be expected this year- the first year of high school English- what is the plan?

1. to improve our written skills by using appropriate language and grammar
2. to express ourselves with the right emphasis
3. to explore new horizons – widen our perceptions
4. to have fun and give humour
5. to demonstrate suitable emotions where applicable
